F.C. København sells reserve goalkeeper Nathan Trott to Cardiff City. The sale was announced on FCK's website on Friday.

What happened?

Nathan Trott never managed to break through in FCK, and therefore the club has chosen to sell him to Cardiff City. Trott has been loaned to Cardiff this season and has played 30 games for FCK.

Why is it happening?

According to Nils Koppen, technical director of FCK, the sale is a good decision, as Trott would not be the first choice in FCK. Koppen says that Trott has delivered a great season in Cardiff, and that the sale is therefore a good deal for both parties.

What's next?

Trott has been given a three-year contract in Cardiff City and will play in the Championship next season. FCK has not disclosed the transfer fee, but English media reports that it costs Cardiff 1.5 million euros to buy Trott.

FCK has chosen to bet on Dominik Kotarski as the first goalkeeper instead of Trott. Kotarski has played a good season and has shown himself to be a stable goalkeeper.
